Int'l Conference on Takfiri Threats kicks off in Denmark

The conference on 'Danger of Takfir and Radicalism on Global Peaceful Coexistence' inaugurated in Danish Capital's Imam Ali mosque in which several religious figures and missionaries took part.

Hawzah News Agency (Copenhagen, Denmark) - The conference which kicked off on Monday, May 22, is attended by a group of religious missionaries and officials of Islamic centers in Europe including Hujjat al-Islam Ramezani, head of Hamburg's Imam Ali (as) center as well as Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Mortadha Kashmiri, Grand Ayatollah Sistani's representative in Europe.

 

Hujjat al-Islam Ramezani was a keynote speaker of the event; during his speech he asserted, "The issue of takfirism and radicalism has been a major concern throughout history and it must be addressed in any era since it poses a threat to different societies, it's been the same even in the past. During the last years, this phenomenon has become a regional and even a global concern which imposes great threats on the whole world. "

 

"Fighting takfiri thoughts has recently become a global demand and we're here today to play our role and live up to our religious duties as Shia and Sunni scholars in order to reveal takfiri thoughts and inform people of these threats." He concluded.
